Introduction
Dr. Li is currently working as associate professor at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He received his Bachelor of Engineering Degree in 2015 and Ph.D. Degree in 2019, both from National University of Singapore. His research focuses on synthesis and morphology control of integrated nanocatalysts (INCs). He has proposed several synthetic strategies for making encapsulated nanocatalysts, utilizing porous materials like zeolites and MOFs as supports. Owning to the unique structural merits, such catalysts have shown promising reactivity and selectivity improvements in CO2 conversion, tandem imination and other gas/liquid phase reactions. Synthesis of noble metal ion encapsulated catalysts have been realized by using organic silica support, achieving heterogeneous catalysis for Suzuki coupling reaction. Pd aggregation and nanoparticle formation during reaction have been minimized, enhancing the catalyst stability when used in recycled runs.
