Xu-Chen Nie is a lecturer at the Institute for Frontier Science, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He received his bachelor’s degree in applied physics and Ph.D. degree in physics from Beijing University of Technology in 2013 and 2019. His major research currently focuses on ultrafast time-resolved laser spectroscopy and microscopy, photoinduced phase transitions, and ultrafast carrier and coherent phonon dynamics in 2D semiconductors (such as TMDCs) and strongly correlated electronic systems (CDWs, TMOs, and high-temperature superconductors).
