Abstract:
Biomechanical materials have been widely studied and applied in the fields of biomedicine, flexible electronics and green energy in recent years due to their good biocompatibility, physical and mechanical controllability, biodegradability and composite functionalization characteristics. How to design the monomer and structure of biomaterials, control and change their mechanical properties, how to combine supramolecular assembly with macroscopic soft materials to achieve composite properties and functions has always been a challenge faced by biomechanical material design, and it is also an important topic in material science research. This report will focus on the theme of Research and Application of Physical and Mechanical Properties and Mechanisms of Multi-scale Bio-based Materials, and introduce the research progress of the reporter in the construction and property control of functionalized bio-based material systems, as well as the application of such materials in the fields of bioelectronics and medical engineering.
About the Speaker:
Xue Bin is a distinguished researcher at the School of Physics, Nanjing University. He received his bachelor's degree in physics from the School of Physics of Nanjing University in 2012 and his Ph.D. in biophysics from the School of Physics of Nanjing University in 2017. Mainly engaged in short peptide and its derivatives self-assembly nanomaterials, functionalized supramolecular biomimetic systems, rational design, functionalization and application research of bio-based hydrogel materials, has published 55 academic papers (SCI included 53), including one author/co-one and 34 communication/co-communication papers, including Nat. Commun., PNAS, Natl. Sci. Rev., Sci. Adv., Angew. Chem., Mater. Today, Adv. Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., ACS Nano, Chem. Mater., ACS AMI, Nanoscale, ACS Macro Lett., etc., the paper has been cited more than 1300 times in the past five years, H-index 23. He has presided over a number of scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province and school-enterprise cooperation, obtained 3 authorized national invention patents, and served as IJMS, Gels and Front. Guest Editor of Chem. magazine.
