Personal Profile:
Chen Sen, Associate Professor, Master's Supervisor. Working within Academician Wanlin Guo's research team, he is primarily engaged in the study of soft intelligent materials and flexible functional devices. He has published over 50 academic papers in renowned journals such as Nature Review Materials, Science Advances, and Advanced Materials. Among these, 24 SCI-indexed papers are published in journals including Advanced Materials, Materials Today, and Matteras first author or corresponding author, which include multiple cover papers, editor's choice articles, and highly cited papers. His research findings have been reported by domestic and international academic media outlets, including China Central Television (CCTV), Science and Technology Daily, China Science Daily, Advanced Science News, the American Institute of Physics's Scilight, and IEEE Spectrum.
Additionally, he holds 8 authorized invention patents as the first inventor, has co-authored 2 books contributing 4 chapters, and has received numerous honors and awards. These include the Nanjing Young and Middle-aged Top Talents, the Chinese Academy of Sciences President's Award, the R. K. Yokokawa Excellent Young Scholar Award, the Haidian Haiying Star Scholarship, the National Scholarship for Doctoral Candidates, the UCAS-BHPB Scholarship, the Beijing Outstanding Graduate Award, and the Excellent Presentation Award at the Chinese Materials Conference.
In terms of academic service, he has been invited to serve as a Guest Editor for several journals and is currently a Young Editorial Board Member for the journal Materials Futures(Impact Factor: 12).
